Lois E. Wallace

	Lois E. Wallace, 75, of DuQuoin, passed away at 8:24 p.m. Monday, December 10, 2001 at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	Lois was a homemaker and had worked as a nurses aid at Marshall Browning Hospital for nine years.  She was of the Protestant faith.
	She was born December 8, 1926 at DuQuoin, the daughter of Jesse Coffel Sr. and Jessie (Brayfield) Coffel.  She married David Wallace on August 3, 1944 at Norfolk, Va. and he preceded her in death.
	She is survived by four children, David Wallace and wife Cathy of San Francisco, Calif., Danny Wallace of Chicago, Debbie Aldridge of DuQuoin, Donna Newcomb and husband David of Patoka, Helen Foster and husband Dean of DuQuoin; brother, Jesse Coffel Jr. and wife Sharon of DuQuoin; sisters-in-law, Lucille Coffel and Mildred Coffel, both of DuQuoin; 10 grandchildren; one step-granddaughter and four great-grandchildren.
	She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three brothers, Dale, Claude and Jerry Coffel and a grandson, Brian Wallace.
	Graveside services were at 2 p.m. Friday, December 14 at the Old DuQuoin Cemetery with Bro. J.W. Fleming officiating.
	 The Searby Funeral Home of DuQuoin was in charge of arrangements.
	Those attending the services were asked to go directly to the cemetery.
	Interment was in the Old DuQuoin Cemetery.
